1. Using CanisLattice
By creating an account or using CanisLattice, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, and the Data & Content Policy. If you do not agree, do not create an account or contribute content.
You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms yourself, a parent or legal guardian must authorize your use.
2. Canine records and community contributions
CanisLattice is a collaborative canine data platform. Records may include names, registration information, pedigree relationships, breed information, measurements, health or genetic test results, titles, reproductive information, photos, breeder or kennel information, and other dog-related facts.
You are responsible for information you submit. Do not knowingly enter false information, impersonate another person, falsely claim ownership of a dog, or intentionally create duplicate records.
3. Reference and unclaimed dog profiles
CanisLattice may contain reference or unclaimed dog profiles created to connect pedigrees, litters, historical records, and other relationships. A reference profile is not proof of legal ownership and does not give the contributor ownership rights over the dog.
A person who owns or controls a dog represented by a reference profile may request a claim, correction, or review. CanisLattice may merge records, correct relationships, preserve provenance, or transfer profile control when appropriate.
4. Your content and license to operate the service
You retain whatever rights you have in content you submit. By submitting content, you give CanisLattice a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, display, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, improve, and provide the service, subject to your visibility and model-data settings where applicable.
Factual information about a dog may also be represented in independently contributed records. Removing your account does not necessarily require CanisLattice to erase independently sourced factual pedigree relationships or historical dog records, although personal account information and content rights will be handled under the Privacy and Data policies.
5. Material from outside sources
Only submit material you have the right to provide. You may enter factual information from legitimate records when permitted, but you may not copy photographs, substantial copyrighted descriptions, protected database compilations, or other material in violation of another service's terms or intellectual-property rights.
If you cite an outside pedigree, registry, testing service, veterinary record, or other source, preserve the source reference when the interface provides a place for it.
6. Automated extraction and misuse
You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, automated harvesting tools, or similar methods to systematically extract, reproduce, index, or redistribute substantial portions of CanisLattice without written permission. You also may not bypass access controls, probe for vulnerabilities, interfere with service operation, overload the service, or use the service to distribute malicious content.
7. Predictions, breeding tools, and health information
Growth predictions, expected adult size ranges, heat-cycle estimates, breeding timing estimates, pedigree calculations, comparison data, and other analytical outputs are estimates based on available data. They may be incomplete or wrong and are not guarantees.
CanisLattice is not a veterinary service. Information on the site is not veterinary diagnosis, treatment, reproductive advice, or a substitute for a qualified veterinarian or other appropriate professional.
8. Accuracy and availability
CanisLattice contains user-contributed and reference data that may be incomplete, disputed, outdated, or unverified. We may provide tools for correction and verification, but we do not guarantee the accuracy of every record or uninterrupted availability of the service.
9. Moderation and account action
We may correct, limit, archive, merge, remove, or restrict content or accounts when reasonably necessary to address inaccurate records, ownership disputes, abuse, security issues, legal requirements, or violations of these policies. We may suspend or terminate access for serious or repeated misuse.
10. CanisLattice intellectual property
The CanisLattice name, branding, software, interface, original documentation, model implementation, and other original platform materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to users.
11. Disclaimer and limitation
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CanisLattice is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that the service or its predictions will be error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, CanisLattice and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special losses arising from reliance on user-contributed data, analytical estimates, service interruptions, or use of the platform.
12. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated as CanisLattice changes. Material revisions will receive a new policy version and may require users to accept the updated terms before continuing certain account activities.
